During the academic year 2010/ 2011 the Kennesaw State University program will focus a series of lectures, performances, exhibits and films on Romania. In 2011 KSU will be hosting and promoting many events which will explore Romania's history from years past to the very present. The events and courses offered are designed to immerse participants into the culture created by Romania's extensive history.
These public programs are linked to credit-earning special topics courses. In addition, working with the General Education Council, the program offers a grants program to encourage general education faculty to produce discipline-based modules on Romania, use them in their own classes, and disseminate them among colleagues. In this way, new instructional units are infused throughout KSU general education curriculum.
