The 47th Chicago International Film Festival is featuring two Romanian Films: Best Intentions, directed by Adrian Sitaru (Main Competition) in the presence of actor Bogdan Dumitrache and producer Ada Solomon, and Loverboy, directed by Catalin Mitulescu (World Cinema).

Synopsis: One morning, Alex receives a devastating phone call: his mother has just been hospitalized after suffering a stroke. Synopsis: In a small Romanian town, a group of 20-something guys known as “loverboys” woo young women into loving them before selling them into prostitution.
