The Romanian Cultural Institute in New York is pleased to announce Adrian Sitaru’s third feature DOMESTIC upcoming screenings in BEYOND competitive section at Slamdance Film Festival in Utah.

Sitaru’s DOMESTIC is a wonderful, surreal, painful but real story of children, adults and animals who live together trying to have a better life, but sometimes death comes unexpectedly.
Adrian Sitaru was born in Romania in 1971 and graduated from the “I.L. Caragiale” Theatre and Cinema University in Bucharest with a Bachelor’s degree in Film and TV Directing.In 2001 he was Costa-Gavras’ assistant director for “Amen.” His shorts Waves and The Cage garnered over 50 awards including two BAFTA L.A. His first feature Hooked was premiered in Venice Days and won 10 international awards while his second feature Best Intentions was awarded in Locarno for "Best Director" and "Best Male Actor".
