CONSTANTIN BRANCUSI

Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi (b. February 19, 1876, Hobita-Pestisani, Gorj County, Romania – d. March 16, 1957, Paris, France) redefined the form and meaning of 20th century sculpture through his original and unique vision and his innovative techniques. His work was seminal for his contemporaries and future generations of artists.
