The library of the Romanian Cultural Institute holds approximately 21.500 books in both English and Romanian, as well as a series of national and local magazines in Romanian. All these materials cover a large spectrum of the Romanian culture: literature, history, folklore, art, music, theatre, cinema, science, etc.

Working hours:
Mon, Wed & Thu: 10 am - 1 pm
Tue & Fri: 3 - 6 pm
(except US and Romanian holidays)

Admission and book lending are free of charge.
For registration simply show any identification card with your photo, complete name and address, and provide phone and/or email where we may contact you.

All books and magazines may be borrowed for a maximum of 3 weeks.  No more than 5 (five) books and 3 (three) magazines may be borrowed at one time from the library.

With the exception of language learning materials, and items that have been reserved by another patron, all other items may be renewed for an additional three-week period. For renewals please contact us at the coordinates above.
